Singapore based G Interactive Pte Ltd has released the latest incarnation of its web based SMS marketing platform "gBlast" gBlast allows SME's to build up a database of customers to market to and gives them the means to create, send, track and analyze SMS marketing campaigns. SMS Marketing, also known as text message marketing, has become increasingly popular over the past 2 years as prices have come down and the concept has been generally accepted by the public. In fact, recent studies have shown that opt-in SMS marketing has incredibly high read rates of up to 95% with uptake rates in the 20% - 30% range.
