Decision Makers (DMs)' preferences on decision alternatives are often characterized by fuzzy preference relations. Increasing attention has been paid to fuzzy preference relations in the literature. In this paper, definition and property of incomplete fuzzy preference relation are introduced. Then, under criterion of minimizing maximum absolute deviation, two optimization models are established based on property of consistent incomplete fuzzy preference relation. Solving the established models, the authors can obtain priority vector from incomplete fuzzy preference relation and an approach of group decision problems with incomplete fuzzy preference relations is given. Finally, illustrative numerical example is given to verify the proposed approach.
