Affiliate marketing, simply, is when someone has an audience and chooses to market products or services that aren't theirs to that market. So, for instance, on chrisbrogan.com, one markets the WordPress blog theme, Thesis, which one didn't create. Because one has an audience reading the blog who might want to use such a product, one can deliver sales to the person who created the product. Make sense? Someone else does the product. One does the marketing. One makes some money and the creator makes some money.
