How Do I: Get Started With DAG's in Exchange 2010?
Database Availability Groups (DAGs) supersede all previous Exchange 2007 High Availability and Disaster Recovery options, replacing CCR, LCR and SCC technologies. Unlike previous HA and DR technologies, DAG's are able to co-exist with other exchange roles, lowering the minimum required number of Exchange servers from 4 down to 2. In this podcast speaker introduces DAGs and demonstrates how to get started with configuring a basic DAG scenario of two replicated databases. The servers both host HUB and CAS roles in conjunction with the mailbox role. No other prerequisites are required excepting Windows Server 2008 Enterprise with Failover Clustering preinstalled.
