There’s now a group of people in the work¬place who are different. For all the difficulties surrounding comparisons between generations and the stereotyping it creates, there’s no doubt that people born after 1980 – variously dubbed ‘Generation Y’, ‘Digital Natives’ and ‘Millennials’ – were part of the first generation to grow up with computers in their homes.
