This paper looks at several other challenges in implementing change effectively and how to tackle them. Most often it is leaders that give the most credence and consideration to change. In fact, the leadership role demands it. Driven in the for-profit world by demand for quarter-over-quarter valuation increases and/or dividend payments and in the not-for-profit world by equally intense pressure to more efficiently deliver value to constituents, organizations must implement change to continuously create value. Due to competitive pressures, we have to realistically appreciate that survival of these organizations is dependent on successful evolution.
