Executive Summary

Most of today's Internet traffic is generated by web applications or web service using HTTP Protocol. Even HTTP Protocol is reliable protocol but it was a best effort service. It means that HTTP create end-to-end delay varying depend on the characteristics of network topology, routing, server capacity, bandwidth and others. From previous work, the authors emphasize and found empirically that the increasing number of users could reduce the average user's performances. Users' performance measured by round trip time delay that further they denote as response time. In this paper, they propose a new method to guarantee performance for HTTP transaction especially appropriate when the number of user was increasing. They propose simple method of blocking for some of client request with specific criteria.
