Impact of Variance of Heterogeneous Spectrum on Performance of Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Networks

This paper addresses the impact of dynamic spatiotemporal variance of heterogeneous spectrum on the performance of the Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Networks (CRAHNs). A dynamic heterogeneous spectrums Multiple Channels Reuse Areas (MCRA) model is set up for a Cognitive Radio (CR) node to characterize the interference from the other nodes, the variation of the traffic of Primary Users (PUs) and Secondary Users (SUs), as well as the variance of heterogeneous spectrum of Primary Channels (PCs) and Secondary Channels (SCs).
