Improved Data Gathering Protocol for WSN

Wireless sensor network generally consists of large number of sensor nodes. The wireless sensor network can be defined as large number of small sensing self powered nodes which gather the information from the geographical area and communicate in wireless fashion with the goal of handing their processed data to the base station. These sensor nodes consist of sensing, processing and communicating elements. Instead of sending the raw data to the base station the head node performs the fusion process which is responsible to send the required and processed data to the base station. During the process of sensing, processing and communicating the parameter like lifetime, resource consumption, data delivery and stability starts decreasing.
