Since business intelligence systems' impact on performance is first of all long-termed and indirect, most measures of business value are not sufficiently close to immediate influence of such systems and therefore not suitable to justify investments into business intelligence systems in real business environments. Thus, measures related to increased information quality as a result of business intelligence systems introduction are commonly used. The purpose of this study is to test how much does implementation of business intelligence systems actually contribute to solving the major issues regarding information quality.
