A simulation model was designed to execute results that would be incorporated into a descriptive study. The objective of the study would be to develop an interactive simulation leadership model seeking to understand women and how others perceive them in a leadership role. One of the purposes of the simulation model would be to assist women to take a proactive position against barriers that address gender stereotypes and practices. The nature of leadership has been studied for the last fifty years but few studies had been directed at the leadership role of women. For the last thirty years women have moved up the organizational ladder and now hold positions as CEO's for a number of global organizations.
