While there has been significant academic research focused on academic integrity and cheating, prior research on AACSB universities that maintain codes of conduct neglects global comparisons. To the knowledge no research has been conducted that examines university codes of conduct in an international context. This paper, in its exploratory nature, sets out to understand the similarities and differences of codes of conduct among universities in five regions: Asia, South Pacific, Europe, Canada, and Latin America. This research seeks to uncover what policies are in place to assist universities in developing a comprehensive and enforceable code of conduct as unethical behavior in the education setting is on the rise.
