Investigation of E-Mail Application Based MANET Routing Protocols Under Black Hole Attack
In mobile ad-hoc networks, each routing protocol is anxious as it routes the packet to destination node safely depending upon topology. Three types of routing protocols are proactive, reactive and hybrid. Ad-hoc On-demand Distance-Vector (AODV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and temporally Ordered Routing Algorithm (TORA) has been considered for investigation based on OPNET modeler 14.5. The impact of black hole attack on these routing protocols has evaluated with respect to delay, retransmission attempts and throughput.
