A Jeweler by profession makes Jewelry and most of the times it is a passed on profession where the Jeweler would have trained himself under his father or grandfather. Ninety percent of the jewelers in the industry are males. Women also venture into the Jewelry business but in different roles such as Jewelry designing and selling. One can become a jeweler by enrolling themselves in a design school. By studying in a design school at the end of the course the individual can either have their own Jewelry business or can have the prospect of being employed by a jewelry making company.
