This paper deals with wireless relay communication systems in which multiple sources transmit information to the destination node by the help of multiple relays. The authors consider a signal forwarding technique based on the Minimum Mean-Square Error (MMSE) approach with multiple antennas for each relay. A source-relay-destination joint design strategy is proposed with power constraints at the destination and the source nodes. Simulation results confirm that the proposed joint design method improves the average MSE performance compared with that of conventional MMSE relaying schemes.
