Leadership is a skill that can draw upon many tools and techniques. This paper advocates using some of the techniques and tools that have been proven to be successful in a dispute resolution method called facilitative mediation. While there is a very distinct process for facilitative mediation as a method for dispute resolution, this paper advocates drawing from some, not all, of that process while constructing leadership and management systems for the modern corporation. Facilitative mediation is traditionally associated with conflict or dispute resolution amongst two or more distinctly different parties.
