Link Scheduling for Throughput Maximization in Multihop Wireless Networks Under Physical Interference
The authors consider the problem of link scheduling for throughput maximization in multi-hop wireless networks. Majority of previous methods for this problem are still restricted to graph-based interference models. In this paper, they study the link scheduling problem using a more realistic physical interference model. Through some key observations about this model, they discover some intrinsic connections between these two interference models, and then they can indirectly apply results on graph-based interference models to develop efficient link scheduling algorithms for physical interference model.
