Load Distribution Through Optimal Neighbour Selection in Decentralized Grid Environment
Load balancing has been a key concern for traditional multiprocessor systems. The emergence of computational grids extends this challenge to deal with more serious problems, such as scalability, heterogeneity of computing resources and considerable transfer delay. In this paper, a load distribution algorithm in the decentralized heterogeneous computing platform is proposed. The total time spent by a job in the system (Total Time to Release TTR) is considered as the main issue that needs to be minimized. A decentralized grid model, as a collection of clusters is proposed.
