This paper has been written to brief the idea and to analyse the development and potential of mcommerce in the context of Bangladesh. Firstly, the paper concentrates on the brief description of technologies that are used to establish m-commerce environment. Secondly, it discusses the network infrastructure that exists in Bangladesh for m-commerce, the organisations' benefits using mcommerce, end-user technologies and cost to afford m-commerce, and human resources for mcommerce application development. Finally, the paper advises the ways to achieve successful environment for m-commerce in Bangladesh.
