MADCA with Multiple Self-Organized Sinks for Wireless Sensor Networks
In Wireless Sensor Network, the efficient use of energy in a sensor node is an important criterion to lengthen the lifetime of the network. Existing approaches for optimal use of energy mainly revolves locating a single sink in a particular place and routing data towards it. Main objective of this paper is deploying multiple sinks after finding the optimal location and clustering the mobile nodes by MADCA (Mobile Adaptive Distributed Clustering Algorithm) to reduce power consumption. This approach involves two phases: optimal sink placement phase and cluster formation phase. In optimal sink placement phase, by determining distance of each node from sink and locations chosen based on distance, the optimal place for sinks is identified to minimize delay.
