Maturing the Distribution of Supportive Tasks in Web Service Framework: Security and Reliability
Security and reliability are the crucial features of distributed computing, of which one of the key enabling technologies is Web Service. In a service execution, the main task is carried out by endpoint logic, which is supported by additive functionalities and/or capabilities, called Web Service handlers. The handlers can be detached from the endpoint and distributed to suitable locations to improve availability, scalability, and performance. In this paper, security and reliability, which are among the most fundamental and essential requirements of the handler distribution, are investigated.
