The purpose of writing this paper is to explain in detail the rising demand of 10 Gigabit Ethernet in today's organizations' data centers. With increase in the growth rate of organizations, the IT industry has designed and is coming up with low-cost hardware that can put up with the rapid business growth. The IT industry is now coming up with high-performance servers that are designed to meet the needs of contemporary data centers. Discussed in this paper is Intel 10 Gigabit Ethernet, which is a multi-core server with information technologies including virtualized environments, advances in storage architectures, server clustering, consolidation, and digital and social media content. This paper discusses in detail about 10 Gigabit Ethernet that is now used in contemporary data centers. Easily configurable, this server provides high performance and reliability operations across all operating systems in a company. The 10 Gigabit Network can be combined with multiple servers in a single physical server that can lower energy requirements in an organization.
