Measuring the Impact of Online Social Networking Sites (SNSs) in the Telecommunication Industry: An Empirical Study of the Republic of Ghana
The proliferation of Online Social Networking Sites (SNSs) has obviously had an impact and influence on the Telecommunication Industry in Ghana and globally as well. Historically, the telecommunication industry has progressed from the days of telegraphs to the current age of mobile devices. Online SNSs have taken the world and by extension Ghana by storm and are in no doubt becoming part and parcel of the people everyday life. They are not only used purposely for communication but can also be used for other purposes such as education and finance. The main objective of this research paper is to analyze the extent to which Online SNSs have had an impact on Ghanaian telecommunication market and customers.
