Microbanking for Rural Entrepreneurship Development

The awareness of the role of microenterprise as one of the \"Backbones\" of rural economy has increased. This is because of microenterprise conduct income generation activities for creating self-employment. More than 73% of small enterprise especially in the rural face financial problem and need credit but do not apply, as they do not have sufficient collateral or feel their enterprise does not qualify. This study aims to explore the contribution of microbanking to the rural entrepreneurship development; and solving the problem surrounding the credit barriers among rural entrepreneur.
