MLD-Based MFSK Demodulation on MIMO Frequency Selective Fading Channel
In this paper, the authors have proposed the novel demodulation scheme of MFSK (M-ary Frequency Shift Keying) signals on MIMO frequency selective channel. For demodulating MIMO MFSK signals, they previously used the FDE (Frequency Domain Equalization) using CP (Cyclic Prefix). In order to further improve the BER characteristics, the novel scheme using MLD (Maximum Likelihood Detection) with ISI canceller and ZP (Zero Padding) has been considered. They further reduced the receiver complexity by replacing MLD with M algorithm. Through computer simulation, they have verified that the proposed scheme using M algorithm with ISI canceller exhibits the excellent BER characteristics compared with the FDE with CP.
