In this paper, the authors propose an algorithm called interactive group synchronization to reduce the chance of audio speech overlapping in VoIP based conferencing. They also extend the capability of colored petri nets by introducing time parameter in it. The propose TCPN (Time Colored Petri Nets) tool is applied here to model the interactive group synchronization algorithm in teleteaching system and then verify and check the correctness of the model. The customers are familiar to get the consistent audio quality and high reliability provided by the traditional circuit switch network.
