Executive Summary

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is extensively used in 4G (Fourth Generation) Mobile technology because of its superior performance in multipath environment. Bluetooth helps and assists in transfer of personal unitary stream of data in piconets/ PANs (Personal Area Networks) between master/slave or vice versa without the assist/knowledge of the device handler. In applications which demand multiple streams of data to be transferred between a master and a slave in a piconet, normally several Bluetooth links would be needed. This paper proposes usage of OFDM in combining the multiple streams of data into a single stream.
