New Compact Design of Rectangular Slotted Hexagonal Microstrip Patch Antenna

In this paper, a hexagon shaped microstrip patch antenna has been designed, simulated and analyzed. The antenna is fabricated with a dielectric constant of 3.4 and loss tangent of 0.002. Microstrip patch antenna becomes very popular day-by-day because of its ease of analysis and fabrication, inexpensive, trivial and easy to feed and their striking radiation characteristics. Although patch antenna has several advantages, it has also some drawbacks such as restricted bandwidth and a potential decrease in radiation pattern.
