Nonce Based Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem for Text and Image Applications
With the fast development of cryptography research and computer technology, the capabilities of cryptosystems such as of RSA and Diffie-Hellman are inadequate due to the requirement of large number of bits. The cryptosystem based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography is becoming the recent trend of public key cryptography. This paper presents the implementation of Elliptic Curve Cryptography by first transforming the message into an affine point on the Elliptic Curve, over the finite prime field. In this paper, the authors illustrate the process of encryption/decryption of a text message and image files in spatial domain by enhancing security using Comparative Linear Congruential Generator for better random number generation. This enables the breaking of cipher text almost impossible for the brute force attack.
