Network virtualization has been proposed as a key contribution to the future internetworking paradigm and is expected to play a crucial role in the next generation Internet. Although interesting progress has been made towards network virtualization, end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning for multimedia services in network virtualization environments is still an important open topic. In this paper, the authors tackle this challenging issue by modeling multimedia service delivery in network virtualization and proposing efficient path selection algorithms for virtual networks.
