The aim of the evaluation research described is by critically examining an in-service education course, to give 25 university teachers a foundation for developing and improving their activities with a focus on flexible learning and ICT-supported education. In the final examination task the participants performed an educational activity with the aim of increasing their own understanding of the area and simultaneously spread the interest in and knowledge of ICT-supported education to colleagues and students. The results show that the degree of freedom offered in the course was not appreciated by all.
