Executive Summary

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is an emerging area of research. WSNs face lot of problems that do not arise in other types of wireless networks and computing environments. Limited computational resources, power constraints, low reliability and higher density of sensor nodes (motes) are some basic problems that need to be considered while designing or selecting a new operating system for performance evaluation of wireless sensor nodes (motes). In this paper one have studied various operating systems with performance analysis of WSNs.
