Optimal Clustering Algorithm for Energy Efficient Data Aggregation in WSN
Wireless sensor networks are widely deployed for wide range of applications for gathering information about the desired application. In general, sensor nodes sense their environment, collect sensed data and transmit it to the base station. During this transmission of sensed data from node to sink there is a lot of energy get reduce. In-order to overcome this problem, some of the researchers used cluster head-based approach to send the data to the sink node. The cluster heads collects all traffic from their respective cluster and performs data aggregation and compression before transmitting the data to the sink.
