Optimal Power Routing for End-to-End Outage Restricted Distributed MIMO Multi-Hop Networks
The multi-hop transmission is well-known to be a promising technology to combat signal attenuations due to large distances between transmitters and receivers. The energy-efficient routing problem over a single-relay multi-hop network is broadly investigated and well understood. Recently, there has been increasing interest in combining MIMO techniques and multi-hop wireless relaying to achieve more reliable e2e communications. By the concept of Virtual Antenna Array (VAA), spatially distributed relaying nodes can be grouped to utilize the capacity-enhancement approaches of MIMO techniques in multi-hop networks.
