Optimization of Performance Metrics of LAR in Ad-Hoc Network
Routing in Mobile Ad-Hoc NETwork (MANET) is a crucial task due to highly dynamic network environment. In latest years, several routing protocols have been implemented. In recent developments, position-based routing protocols exhibit better scalability performance and robustness against frequent topological changes such as, Location-Aided Routing (LAR) protocol. In this paper, developments of performance-metrics using LAR have been reported. Using these developments, LAR protocol has been found to be better than other protocols like DSR in MANETs of different scenario.
