The development of multimedia applications on the Internet has been attractive in the last few decades which in turn introduce new challenges in Internet Protocol TeleVision (IPTV) Networking. Streaming services such as Internet Protocol TeleVision (IPTV) are bandwidth intensive techniques and cannot endure the delays and loss properties of the Internet. The utilization of Content Distribution Networks (CDNs) is observed to be effective in the distribution of bandwidth-intensive streaming multimedia. In an IPTV network, video on demand and other video services produce a huge amount of unicast traffic from the Video Hub Office (VHO) to subscribers and, in turn, necessitate added bandwidth and equipment resources in the network.
