Performance Analysis of V-Blast MIMO System in Rician Channel Environment

Executive Summary

The Vertical Bell Labs layered Space-Time (V-BLAST) system is a Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) system designed to achieve good multiplexing gain. This paper the authors study the VBLAST MIMO system architecture with Zero-Forcing (ZF), Minimum Mean-Square Error (MMSE), and Ordered Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) detectors and simulate this structure in Rician fading channel. Also compares the performances of MIMO system with different modulation techniques in scattering environment. In this paper they compare the performance of different detector system based on the bit error rate.
