Performance Analysis of Various Routing Protocols Over 802.11based Wireless Mesh Networks
Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) are low-cost access networks built over a backbone composed of stationary wireless routers. These networks provide the flexibility is easy to deploy in many exciting applications. Therefore, it is essential to design an algorithm that considers the link quality to choose the best route and is achieved by efficient routing metrics and protocols. In this paper, the authors are analyzing the comparative study of the performance of various routing protocols in wireless mesh networks on the basis of Throughput, Jitter, average end-to-end delay and number of packets received.
