Executive Summary

Business process modeling is used for better understanding and communication. Mostly, business process modeling is discussed from information system development perspective. After execution of business processes, various objects become important and have to be represented in business process models. The process models conceived for information system development are not sufficient for the post execution analysis because different focus of conception for these models. In this paper, the authors discuss the characteristics of business processes and provide a classification of involved objects and their attributes.
