Satellite images have many applications like meterology, agriculture, geology, forestry, landscape warfare etc. Interpretation and analysis of satellite imagery is conducted using specialized remote sensing applications. In this paper, the authors have developed a technique which tries to extract useful information from large set of satellite images. They consider time series satellite images for their research. Image processing techniques are used to enhance the satellite images. They try to analyze land covers of a particular area and extract information about their vegetation. It describes a scalable and efficient method to analyze time series satellite images. Satellite images of a particular area are analyzed. The required features are extracted based on their texture. They try to collect vegetative features from the images.
