Executive Summary

This paper describes the technical solution implemented with the participation of multiple partners. One conclusion of this experience is that both e-Call Service providers and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) are instrumental for the deployment of automated emergency call handling. In this paper, new functional scope of PSAPs is presented as well as the interactions with other entities involved in the processing of future emergency calls.
