Executive Summary

Designing a reliable and power-efficient protocol is critical to wireless sensor network. Recently, it is essential to practical deployment to design a wireless sensor network protocol that is reliable and easy to implement. The aim of this paper is to provide reliable and efficient wireless sensor network operation through a multi-query protocol design. In many wireless sensor network applications, information collected from multiple sensor nodes is needed to provide complete sensing results. Sending multiple unicast queries and collecting multiple responses in parallel result in inefficient network transmission. The authors enhance network efficiency by applying multi-query to collecting information from a group of source nodes.
