An ontology is an explicit, formal specification of a shared conceptualization of a domain of interest. A domain ontology models a specific domain, or part of the world, it represents the particular meanings of terms as they apply to that domain. With the application of ontology in natural language processing, semantic web, systems engineering, software engineering, biomedical informatics, library science, enterprise bookmarking, and information architecture as a form of knowledge representation, the quality of ontology has became increasingly demanding. Therefore, how to efficiently construct ontology, especially domain ontology, is becoming a hot research.
