Review of Techniques for Designing Printed Antennas for UWB Application
Due to the rapid development in the field of wireless communications there is an increasing demand for higher data rate and large bandwidth. The emerging Ultra WideBand (UWB) is a promising technology as it can accommodate higher data over a large bandwidth. The design of an antenna for UWB system is a challenging task. Many antennas have been designed for UWB with acceptable performance. There are different feeding techniques that have been discussed in this paper. According to the feeding techniques the patch antenna for UWB have been categorized and their results have been concluded which represents comparative analysis of their return loss and other basic parameters.
