Review of Ultra Wideband Antenna Designs with 3.4/5.5 GHz Dual Band-Notched Characteristics
An antenna is the most essential and crucial part of any wireless system which acts as a transducer that converts guided electromagnetic energy in a transmission line to radiate electromagnetic energy in free space. In this review paper, four recently reported Ultra WideBand (UWB) antenna designs with 3.4/5.5GHz dual band-notched characteristics have been analyzed. Two designs each for Co-Planar Waveguide (CPW) and microstrip line feed techniques have been studied. The geometry and design of antenna parameters have been presented and analyzed.
