Executive Summary

For any number of reasons many companies who run SAP end up with fragmented and piecemeal landscapes. It happens for lots of reasons: rollouts, independent Business Units, mergers and acquisitions, they can all leave one SAP application and business solution looking like someone set off an explosion scattering pieces everywhere. More and more the author seeing companies looking to consolidate onto either a single platform or at least a few regional platforms. This makes sense for a lot of reasons.
