What comes up first when someone Google's your name? If you're lucky, perhaps a homepage you've setup, or a link to one of your social networking profiles. But for many people, the answer is a bit more problematic. Maybe you've had an unflattering mention in the press, or maybe you simply have a common name or one that is shared with someone famous, which buries your own identity from the search results. Thanks to a recent addition by Google - Google Profiles - you can now at least ensure that you have some presence that you control on the first page of search results.
