This article state that the site having a popular brand name and logo are favored by the online customers and E-retailers are taking advantages of the trust that sites logos provides. Previously people were used to see the seal on the product at the time of buying but in this new internet age online buyers are more concerned with logo of the company to know whether the product is branded or not. Retailers know customer satisfaction is especially crucial to their online ventures. In a recent study, Boston-based Boston Consulting Group researchers reported that 28% of online buyers who got frustrated while trying to complete a transaction said they would not shop online in the future. Another 23% of the respondents said they wouldn't buy from that site anymore, of which 6% stated they wouldn't shop online in the future. Read the article to get the details.
