The new architecture eliminates the Avaya requirement for unfettered 24x7 accesses to customers' network equipment. Customers can take advantage of channel-neutral support by enabling self-service, Avaya support, and/or authorized partner support of their networks at levels never achieved before. And, customers can be in complete control of when and how Avaya, or any other service partner, accesses their equipment. With this new service and support architecture, Avaya has significantly changed its underlying software, procedures, and paradigms to provide customers with more choices, more control and improved security.
