Secure Energy Efficient Multipath Routing Scheme for Data Gathering in WSNs
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) consists of sensor nodes which connect to each other in a wireless network. Here Energy is the major factor because each sensor node works with its non-rechargeable battery. If data collection is not performed efficiently, the sensors will have a lot of traffic and energy consumption. Consequently, the life time of the sensors will be short. In this paper, the authors develop a Secure Energy Efficient Multipath Routing Scheme for Data Gathering (SEEMRS) based on secret sharing which attains authenticity and data confidentiality in WSNs. The proposed scheme consists of four phases; multipath routing construction to attain the high level data reachability ratio, they use the proactive secret sharing approach to verify the integrity and provide the security of the data, data gathering approach to ensure data availability and concept of energy consumption model is proposed to ensure the minimum energy consumption for data gathering.
